 RULES AND REGULATIONS


YOUR SIGNATURE ON THE ENTRY FORM SHALL BE CONSTRUED AS ACCEPTANCE OF THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS


1. ALL classes will be run under the Rules of the relevant Societies/Championship Organisers.

2. EMAIL and TEXT ENTRIES will be accepted. Text or email entries cannot be guaranteed until the fee is received. Entries will not be refunded except under the rules referred to in Clause 1 or on production of a vet’s certificate with a £2 deduction to cover administration costs.

3. THE Show reserves the right to cancel add to or amend any of the classes as it thinks fit; alter advertised times; refuse entry without stating the reason. PLEASE REGULARLY CHECK OUR FACEBOOK PAGE.

4. THE decision of the Organiser and/or the judges is final.

5. HEALTH & SAFETY:

(a) All events are organised in accordance with H & S legislation. The organisers will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of those attending the show. For these measures to be effective everyone attending must take similar precautions to prevent and avoid accidents and obey the instructions of the organisers, stewards, judges and other officials.

(b) Dogs are not permitted anywhere on the showground.

(c) Bicycles, roller blades, scooters, etc. are not permitted on the showground

(d) Horses/ponies must not be tied up outside boxes/trailers and left unattended or tied to any gates or fences.

(e) If any horse/pony has been in contact with any infectious disease it should not attend the show.

(f) No lunging is allowed in the parking or warm-up areas.

(g) All vehicles should enter and leave the parking area with due consideration for others and vehicles should be parked in a sensible manner.

(h) Hay, droppings and other rubbish must not be left on the showground. Please take your rubbish home with you.

6. STALLIONS: The following rule applies to members and non-members of all organisations competing or preparing to compete at the show.

No person shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible as owner, lessee, authorised agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete in the show without taking adequate precautions to ensure other members of the public are not put at risk of injury. STALLION DISCS MUST BE WORN. No rider/handler under 15yrs may exhibit a stallion in any class.

7. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY: Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the show, its officers, servants or agents, the show shall be under NO liability for injury, loss or damage, however occasioned, suffered by competitors, spectators, their property servants or horses in connection with or arising out of the show.

8. Competitors/owners must have their own insurance which includes suitable public liability cover.

9. OBJECTIONS accompanied by a deposit of £50 must be made in writing to the Show Secretary within 15 minutes of the incident, such deposit to be forfeited if the objection is not sustained.


DATA PROTECTION 2018

Due to new data protection laws  which came into force in 2018 we need to inform you that a photographer will be on site on the  day of the show. If you do not wish to have your photos taken please inform the Show Secretary on the day when you collect your number
